Thank you to everyone who took part in the First Annual City Skyline Challenge in Portland!

This past weekend you helped us send 64 brave rappellers over the edge to rappel 242′ in downtown Portland and together we raised more than $95,000 for the Northwest Outward Bound School Portland Schools Program and wilderness scholarships in the NW!

We could not have done it without the support of our rappellers, donors, volunteers and sponsors!
Thank you to:

The Portland City Skyline Challenge is a once in a lifetime opportunity where you can experience the thrill and adventure of rappelling 240 feet off of one of Downtown Portland’s most recognizable buildings, 1000 Broadway.

This event supports Northwest Outward Bound School’s Wilderness Programs, Pinnacle Scholarships, as well as our Portland Center scholarships and programs which serves middle school and high school students in the Portland metro area. The Portland Center brings both physically and mentally challenging experiences and benefits of Outward Bound courses to low-income, underserved youth.

Individuals and teams are invited to earn a spot to rappel by raising a minimum of $1,000.

No rappelling experience is necessary!

Your courage will give young people the opportunity to test theirs.
